Homemade Baby Food Recipes

A list of recipes that I have used for my girls and how to. If you have any yummy things you want me to try/add let me know.

Best way to make

Rice, Oats or Barley Cereal.

  • Use a coffee grinder and grind to a powder
  • Boil about a 1/4 cup of water or breast milk *
  • Add 2 tbs powder

*Note: May have to add more water or breast milk to thin down some if too thick.

*Use Brown Rice Short grain

*Rolled Oats (I used Bobs Red Mill)

* Pearled Barley (I used Bobs Red Mill)

  • *I steamed until tender about 10 mins or so it varies I think

  • Put in blender and blend until smooth

  • Add water as needed to make a very smooth puree

  • After blending use mesh strainer to put peas through to get out any skins that did not puree
